Established in 1856, The Christchurch Club was founded as a gentlemen’s house in the city of Christchurch.

It was called a ‘Club’ from the beginning and soon became one in every sense of the word.

Membership is through introduction by a Member of at least five years standing, supported by two additional members.

The Christchurch Club is a private social Club, which guarantees privacy in a ‘home away from home’ environment.

Currently there are over 100 Clubs throughout the World, where reciprocal arrangements are in place, and Members are able to use their facilities as their own.
